About Me

Hi there! My name is Johaira Wu — just call me Aira. I’m a Web Designer and SEO Specialist .

I started freelancing in 2025, specializing in web design and SEO — the good pair. Design gets people to your site; SEO gets people to your site. You definitely need both.

Where it all started

Back in college, I loved designing websites — seeing how a site’s structure and flow could change the whole experience, obsessing over device responsiveness. When my projects started getting compliments from professors, something clicked. (Kind of like Donkey finally finding his person in Shrek.)

After graduating, I felt a little lost — the usual “now what?” of life after college. Then I found freelancing. I started with web design services, then added SEO skills, because a beautiful website nobody finds doesn’t help a client’s brand. That’s when it clicked: design gets you found, SEO makes sure you’re found by the right people, and that creates a domino effect for the client’s brand.

Currently, I’m open and taking more clients.

I’m a believer in Jesus Christ — my Lord and Savior, my best dad, and my best friend.

I bake in my free time. My banana bread is genuinely good — and honestly, who doesn’t like banana bread? (If you don’t, we might need to talk.)

Recent work

I’ve worked with UpfrontFunding on web design. On the SEO side, I’ve also worked with Flower Bar Cebu, a local florist business in Cebu, and NutriPaw, a personal SEO case study project. Currently, I’m deepening my SEO specialization, with a focus on local and technical SEO for small businesses.
